As a Materials Analyst supporting our CNC division, you are the critical link between procurement and the production floor. This is a high-energy role in a low-volume/high-mix manufacturing environment where priorities shift rapidly. You must be a master of organization—capable of following rigid aerospace and automotive processes while maintaining the agility to pivot instantly to urgent requests without losing track of your previous tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Material Procurement & Ordering: Execute purchase requisitions for raw materials, aerospace-grade alloys, and tooling based on ERP/MRP requirements to ensure zero production downtime.
- Epicor ERP Management: Maintain 100% accuracy of material data within Epicor ERP, including tracking shipments, updating stock levels, and managing job releases through the Production Planner Workbench.
- Process Adherence: Follow strict work instructions and aerospace quality standards for receiving, labeling, and kitting materials to ensure full traceability.
- Dynamic Task Prioritization: Navigate daily "hot" priorities by pausing administrative tasks to address urgent manufacturing needs (e.g., AOG situations or machine-down shortages) and picking back up exactly where you left off.
- Inventory Integrity: Conduct regular cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies within Epicor to maintain high inventory accuracy levels.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Serve as the central point of contact between CNC machinists, engineering, and external suppliers to resolve delivery delays or material quality issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years in a materials coordination or administrative role within a manufacturing setting; aerospace or CNC experience is highly preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Epicor ERP or a similar robust ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
