NX Designer – Sheet Metal and Chassis

Location: Roseville, MI

Duration: Long term

Purpose:

NX designer required for immediate openings to develop automotive innovation components. Skills needed include the Sheet Metal; BIW, front and rear body systems, closures, mechanisms, and chassis systems. Sheet Metal design experience is required.

Technical Qualifications:

Demonstrate the creation of interior automotive components in NX. Able to create solids from surfaces provided.

Sheet Metal:

BIW
Closures
Seating structures and mechanisms a plus
Tooling is a plus

Experienced with Teamcenter & create 2D drawings.

Must be a self-starter and work in an independent environment as well as being part of a team.
Sound understanding of sheet metal and design for manufacturability.
Understanding of Templates is a plus

Soft Skills:

Effective verbal and written are essential.
Comfortable with Zoom, WebEx, and other video conferencing software.
Comfortable interacting with clients and internal design, engineering, and manufacturing teams.
