Overview:
The work is about vehicle integration. The team overseas all vehicle programs, responsible for updating and changing out parts/trouble codes, diagnostics, large dealership for developmental vehicles. Ther isn’t a lot of service information so the diagnostic information will be based on how well you can navigate a vehicle, use experience to relate it to now. The technician will work on electric to gas to performance to diesel vehicles, if GM makes it they work on it!
Most of the team has been there a while (5-10 years). This group sees all the new cool stuff that is in the works; new technology, a lot of people like the challenge and difficulty that comes with working on vehicles without documentation on them. A successful technician has to have good problem solving skills, the current team really likes the environment they work in and the team aspect, every car is brand new (clean, no rust) in comparison to a dealer because it is cleaner.
Motivator for this need is due to an increase in vehicle sales and thus, work.
