The RCO Engineering team is looking for an organized experienced Materials Manager. The Materials
Manager oversees the planning, procurement, storage, controls and distribution of materials and
products according to company needs and customer requirements. This role provides operational
leadership for Policy, Procedure & Work Instructions in a high mix / boutique production environment.
The successful candidate will be a self-driven leader who can take the division to the next level.

Core Responsibilities
o Own demand forecasting (firm & planning) for both service & production
o Oversee current & advanced bills of materials in high configuration environment
o Lead materials planning, execution & production control teams (15-25 employees)
o Take lead role in optimizing and performing MRP (Materials Resource Planning)
o Oversee production control & work order release to manufacturing cells/focused factories
o Generate, monitor and develop action for internal operating metrics involving inventory
o Identify and/or implement new technology, methods and thinking
o Sustain & grow metrics for a global supply base
o Optimize levels of inventory across 3000+ sku numbers either purchased or manufactured
o Improve and manage material flow to align with production flow
o Batch production, owning the material flow form the dock to the finished goods, production
schedule and team leadership.
o Be prepared and willing to launch a new ERP system
o Lead negotiations on expedites
o Ensure the operation is never out of material and the material on hand is justified
o A positive can-do attitude to support RCO Engineering leadership as necessary to meet and
exceed customer expectations.

Requirements
o Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field
preferred.
o Minimum of 3 years in a materials management role inside a manufacturing operation.
o Minimum of 5 years’ experience with an MRP/ERP software solution.
o Must have high level of organization, data & planning skills.
o Must be a self-motivated initiator.
